Lascaux Contralto (*Popsters Mr. Bojangles x *Menai Contralto) sec.C filly, bay, wide blaze and front sock & cornet. Born 4/9/08 Absolutely darling little girl! She looks so much like mom we decided to name her after her. She has a sweet face, and a personality with lots of "pony Character" so desirable in the Cs. Mom has produced a number of National Champions and national winners and this filly will be no exception. Potential for performance and of course breeding stock, it would be hard to find better C breeding in the U.S. $3,500. |

Lascaux Andiamo (*Popsters Mr. Bojangles x Cob Hills Lady Guinevere) sec.D Dun colt. Star, matching hind socks. Born 4/23/08 This is the first time we've tried this cross and I'm very pleased! A big strapping colt should be 14.2 - 14.3 at maturity. The more this colt develops, the more I like him - he has that "wow" factor about him. Seems to have a very laid back personality which would make him a great performance cob but also has the breeding and type to be a herd sire for cobs or sportponies. Lots of quality in this boy, he will get even better as he buffs up! Photos at 5 days. $4,500. |

Lascaux Helio (*Popsters Mr. Bojangles x *Popsters Kismet) sec.C Palomino colt. Large star and matching hind high stockings, may have white on fronts as well. Born 4/24/08 This is "Kizzy's" first foal and we like him a lot! Bigger than we thought she'd produce first time out looks like he will be very close to 13.2 at maturity. Both parents are imported and their lines are very popular now in the UK section C show ring. Hard to find this breeding in the US, if you want to breed section Cs this boy could be your herd sire! Photo taken at 1 1/2 weeks. SOLD! |
Lascaux ? (*Popsters Mr. Bojangles x Glendower Honeysuckle) sec.C palomino filly. Four matching high stockings and a blaze. Born 5/7/08 #4 in the series, this spectacular filly has three palomino full sisters with nearly identical markings. Looks like she will be a golden color and right up to size, judging by her length of leg. This filly won't last long! We would be keeping her if we hadn't already retained her full sister from '06. Photo at 5 hours old. More coming soon as she unfolds. $3,500. |

Lascaux Brymbo (N. Forks Sir Oliver Blakeslee x Cob Hills Lady Guinevere) '07 sec. D geld. Chestnut, matching hind stockings, blaze. After three girls in a row "Guin" presented us with this handsome boy. This has been a golden cross for us and this foal is no exception. He is very fancy and full of quality. A full brother to a number of Grand Champions in-hand, he also has a couple of brothers who are making their mark in dressage. Brymbo will be successful in any arena, from in-hand to performance. Should finish in the 14.2-15h range. '08 photos to come... $4,000. . |

Wyn Jillian (*Nebo Calonog x *Iouar Esther Jane) '06 Sec. D bay filly, both hind 1/2 stockings, matching front socks and a star & snip. Lovely bred filly out of two imported parents. Sire is a many times Supreme Champion in-hand and a very successful performance cob. Dam is a daughter of Geler Dago and out of a Trevallion Harry mare. "Jill" is a big mover with lots of cob type who will be an asset to any breeding program. She has a good mind and a sweet, easy temperament that will be a breeze to train. She seems pretty unflappable so would probably make a really solid driving or riding cob like her sire. Should finish in the 14.2 hand range. Very reasonably priced for a filly of her breeding and quality. '08 photos to come... $4,500. |

Lascaux Picasso (N. Forks Sir Oliver Blakeslee x *Scole Sally) '05 Sec D gelding, bay with three socks, and a large star. Picasso is a handsome, typey cob, with a lovely expressive face, measured at just over 14.1 this spring, will probably remain large pony size. He will make a very nice driving, dressage, pleasure, or any kind of performance cob. He loves attention and will follow you all around to get it. This is Sally's last foal, and she finished with a bang! Picasso is quiet and easy about things and yet a HUGE mover when motivated. He knows his voice commands on the lunge and has been lightly backed at the walk and trot. Spring training has just started back up and he is going nicely. Photo under saddle shown his third time at the trot. Price may increase as training progresses. $5,500.

Lascaux Jackie-O (N.Forks Sir Oliver Blakeslee x Cob Hills Lady Guinevere) '03 chestnut sec. D mare, matching hind stockings and strip. 14h + This cute cute cute mare is one of the few "Guin" daughters to be offered for sale. We had planned to keep her but are retaining another and decided we can't justify keeping two! Jackie has the most pony character of all Guin's foals to date. She has an extremely cute pony head to go with her cobby body. She will be shown at breed shows this season and local open shows to gain experience under saddle. At her very first show and first time being ridden around other horses she placed 2nd & 3rd in pleasure classes of a dozen or more competitors. She has a good sensible mind and is easy to do everything with. Potential to go any direction and the breeding and type to win in-hand. Price will go up with show miles! $6,500. |

Tide Creek Dandelion (Tide Creek Jack Frost x Flying Diamond Antique Lace) '05 grey Section B gelding, 13.1 at 3 years. Cute, big section B gelding will fill out and probably finish a good 13.2. Quality bred future performance gelding, "Dandy" has a sweet, quiet temperament and should be a good family mount. Ready to start under saddle, price will increase as training progresses. Photos as soon as he sheds! $3,000. |

HERMES CORLANDUS Dressage saddle, 18" medium tree, brown. (made in France) This saddle speaks for itself. WONDERFUL to ride in, gorgeous to look at. And rarely ever seen in brown! This is a "monoflap" style which puts your leg right against the horse. Very good condition, expected rub marks at bottom of flaps and sweat stains on the light colored panels that are against the horse (not seen when riding). Otherwise this saddle is lovely. I love this saddle and am only selling it as the flaps are long and the tree is regular and really only fits one of my cobs - and maybe not for long! This saddle is for a longer legged person, I'm 5'7" and it would probably be too long for anyone shorter than that or with a short inseam. The 18" seat really isn't a factor as it is deep and would work for someone who usually rides in something between 17" & 18". It has the stirrup bars that move and have two leather positions. REALLY nice feature if you remove your leathers after each ride. Because of the euro / dollar prices, french saddles have gone sky high. A new Corlandus sells for $6,200. in the Dover catalog - and they don't even offer it in brown! This would be an investment saddle. Asking price is firm as I don't mind keeping this saddle, it will hold its value. $2,900. |
BATES ISABELL Dressage saddle, 17" Adjustable tree, black. I love this saddle! Why am I selling it? Because I have too many! It puts you in a great position, and is easy to ride in. What don't I like about it? I HATE the overgirth, just bugs me to have to deal with it when it doesn't seem to have much purpose. But that's a personal thing! Sure I could have it removed but I didn't want to mess with the value of the saddle. Excellent condition, ridden in for dressage at a couple of events and a few times practicing. This saddle is nearly perfect. It is the highly textured leather (don't know what they call it) - looks like bull hide or walrus, it has the wool flocked panels (not the "Cair") but does have the "Easy Change" gullet system and comes with the adjustable flexi blocks, both large and small. It should fit just about any but the uber wide horse. Included with the saddle is the complete "Easy Change Gullet" kit with all the different size plates, and the burgundy fleece "Bates" saddle cover. A new Isabell sells for $2,395. in the Dover catalog. Get this like-new saddle for $1,500. |
WALDHAUSEN "FEEL IT" Dressage saddle, 171/2" ish wide tree, black. ANOTHER nice saddle! See? I told you I have too many! This is a bit of an unusual saddle as you don't see this brand in the US very often. (Made in Germany) The way I understand it, the panels in this saddle are filled with a substance that molds to the horse's back as he works and warms up. The seat is also very cushy and comfortable for the rider. It has the velcro-in adjustable knee blocks (included). Perfect condition, you can't even tell its been ridden in as I used calfskin leathers that leave no marks (not included). It was sold to me as a wide but I can't find any marks on the saddle that note the tree width. I would guess it would fit most wider horses but not a super flat-backed one. It has a #2 stamped at the bottom of one of the under flaps so I'm guessing that means its a 2 flap which would be average. Included is the nice heavy-duty waterproof vinyl cover. A new Waldhausen sells in the $2,000. - $2,500 range, (if you can find them in the US). I think you can get more info about this brand on waldhausen.com or do a google search. This is virtually a new saddle! $900. |
PASSIER P S BAUM Dressage saddle, 17" regular tree, brown. (made in Germany) Nice older style dressage saddle from the famous maker. Built-in knee blocks and short billets so it uses a long girth. Good condition for its age, the only wear I can find is the leather covering the blocks UNDER the molded flap, is worn but it can't be seen and certainly doesn't affect the rideability of the saddle. I'm guessing this was common for this design since there's no extra wear on the outer flap and just expected rubbing where your leg goes. There is some checking in the seat leather twist and in the folds of the panels but no cracking. Some small scuffs & rubs on the cantle that don't go through. The billets are in very good shape so my guess is that they've been replaced at some point. Looks to be a regular tree. This would be a super starter saddle for somebody who wants the quality but doesn't want to pay a whole bunch. $295. |

CRUMP brand synthetic AP / jump saddle, 17 1/2" regular tree, light brown. This saddle was made in the UK and distributed by Crump. Its a really nice, light weight all-around saddle, perfect for an adult on a smaller animal or somebody that doesn't want to heft around a leather saddle. The covering on this saddle is similar to the Wintec close contact in the caramel color. It has the texture of a basketball and looks enough like leather to use to show in but is easy clean and would be perfect for an every-day saddle or for trail riding. It has the expected rub marks from the leathers and a small nick in the cantle which doesn't affect the use (and is barely noticeable). $150. |
