Glendower Honeysuckle
(Dawns Dathliad Arian y Penrhyn x *Knockbridge Lyn by Synod William)
"Glenda", palomino, 13.2. Although a 3/4 sister (their mothers are half sisters) to Libby, Glenda has quite a bit more size and cobbiness to her. She and Libby share the same work ethic and willingness to please that we find so desirable in our ponies.

In her first year of showing, Glenda won the 1998 "Grazing Field Farms" award for the WPCSA national high point cob! She repeated that prestigious win in '99 and was also 3rd nationally in Pleasure Driving and 4th in Western Pleasure, in addition to numerous regional championships in performance.

Her '01 filly "Lascaux A Go-Go", by Lascaux Local Hero, has been very successful in the show ring winning numerous Champion Cob Mare titles, and is now showing under saddle and in harness.

Glenda has produced four palomino fillies with high stockings by "BJ".  She is bred back again for '09.  Here's your chance to get #5!

*Brynmeillion Louise
(Parvadean Diplomat x Rhyd-ddu Llances)
Chestnut, sec. C, 13.2. "Lulu" is a 1999 daughter of Parvadean Diplomat, a son of the legendary stock getter Synod Replay.

Her show record includes a WPCSA National Reserve Champion C mare title in '03 and also '04 WPCSA National Reserve Champion Cob Hunter Over Fences.  She also was shown successfully in Dressage, Western Pleasure and Trail classes.

A true versatile Welsh, she produced her first foal (a palomino filly!) in '06 by our palomino C stallion "BJ" who at a young age won a Championship in-hand at a USDF breeders show.  She is bred to "MrM" for an '09 foal, who will be available for sale.

*Menai Contralto
(Menai Bonheddwr x Menai Catti II)
Bay , sec. C, 13.0+. "Caty" came to us from Wales where her dam is a Royal Welsh class winner and Champion mare.  Caty's full sister also won her class at the Royal Welsh show as a weanling.

Caty is producing foals with the quality of her lineage.  To date four of her fillies have gone on to be WPCSA year-end Champions in hand, and some are now making a showing in the performance arena.

This mare out-produces herself time after time.  Her '08 filly by "BJ" has been sold but she is bred back for an '09 foal.  It may be available for sale.

Talywern Prince's Caris
(*Menai Lord Charles x *Menai Catw)

'03, Liver chestnut sabino, 13.1

Caris is line bred Menai and is the type and has the mind that we love in our Cs.  Her dam (who is a full sister to *Menai Contralto above) won at the Royal Welsh prior to being imported to Canada. Catw's dam (Menai Cati II) was  two time female champion at the Royal Welsh so this line has a lot of winning history behind it!

Caris has been shown at the breed shows in Western Pleasure and Trail and proving she has the temperament to be an all around mount.

*Popsters Kismet
(Parvadean Lotta Bottle x Synod Lady Jasmin by Synod Roger)  "Kizzy" came to us as a weanling the end of '02 as a future addition to our broodmare band. She is palomino and about 13.1.

Her sire is a prolific winner both in hand and under saddle having won the ridden C class at the Royal Welsh show in the UK. Her dam is a daughter of the well-known Synod Roger and out of a daughter of Lyn Cwmcoed's full sister, Lili Cwmcoed.

Kizzy is proving to be quite the performance pony.  So far she has points in Western Pleasure, English Pleasure, Hunter Over Fences and Ridden Cob, not to mention a Grand Champion and numerous other wins at halter.

In '08 she produced a handsome palomino colt (sold) by "BJ".  She is bred to "MrM" for an '09 foal which will be available for sale.

Section D Mares

Cob Hills Lady Guinevere
(*Llanarth Maldwyn ap Braint x *Llanarth Dilys)
Bay, just under 15h. Guin is a multi Supreme Champion at a relatively young age and has already shown that she passes her quality on to her foals.

Her latest Supreme Champion title was received under judge Ann Bigley, from the Llanarth stud, U.K., at the 1998 Northwest Welsh Classic Gold show. Judge Bigley also awarded Reserve Grand Champion Cob to Guin's weanling filly at the time "Lascaux Echo" (by Oliver).

Guin's '99 colt, L. Bravo was Grand Champion cob and "Best Foal" over all sections at the '99 NWWC Western National show. Her 2002 colt by Oliver, L. Bolero, was named Grand Champion Cob at the OWPS show by Judge India Haynes when he was only 10 weeks old!

If you want a breeding and performance cob, Guin will produce it! She produced a gorgeous bay filly for us in '06 which we have retained.  Her fabulous '08 dun colt and  her '07 chestnut gelding by Oliver are available for sale.  See more info on our sales page.

*Iouar Esther Jane
(Geler Dago x Thorndonpark Harriet (x Trevallion Harry)
Black , four socks and star, 14.2h.

We acquired "EJ" in '06 along with her charming filly by *Nebo Calonog (for sale on sales page).  We love her bloodlines and are equally enamored with her personality, type, lovely expressive face and extravagant movement.  We have high hopes for this mare and hope to cross her to some of our stallions in the future.  She has not been shown as far as we know but has all the ingredients to produce correct show quality offspring.

She was bred to *Danaway Sunny for '08 and produced a big, flashy moving black filly with four stockings, which we have retained.

She is bred to *Popster's Mr. Moffatt for a (black with four socks!) '09 foal.
